Officiant/Celebrant

Ceremonies create change. In a meaningful ceremony love, appreciation, esteem, and admiration can be communicated in a symbolic and significant form.

A meaningful ceremony will bring as many of our senses online as possible – to hear, to see, to touch, to bring to life the emotions inherent in the ceremony, whatever they may be, joy, love, happiness, sorrow, appreciation, honor, etc.

A meaningful ceremony creates a sacred space where the emotions can be given voice, acknowledged by family and friends, and celebrated in the unity of mutual connection. Reminding us of where we have been, why we are here now together and where we are going.

Drum Circle Facilitation

Drum circles bring people, families, communities, and co-workers together to express themselves for personal empowerment and wellness.

A drum circle can be a fun, family friendly event, where people share their spirit by entraining rhythmically. We encourage each other in the act of celebrating community and life through rhythm.

We all instinctively possess a sense of rhythm: we can tap our feet, our hearts beat, we use a rhythm to walk, we dance to a rhythm. The session’s duration depends on the dynamics of the group; between 40 minutes to one hour is the typical length.

Spiritual Direction

Spiritual direction is the practice of being with people as they attempt to deepen their relationship with the divine or to learn and grow in their personal spirituality.

The person seeking direction shares stories of their encounters of the divine, or how they are cultivating a life attuned to spiritual things. The director listens and asks questions to assist the directee in his or her process of reflection and spiritual growth.

Spiritual direction advocates claim that it develops a deeper awareness with the spiritual aspect of being human, and that it is neither psychotherapy nor counseling nor financial planning.
